Getting equipment OUT of a building is frequently harder than getting it in, because whoever installed it had an empty room and a delivery lift, and you have a finished space and a deadline.

What removal covers

Disassembly. Broken down to the point it will pass through doors, stairwells and lifts — which for a multi-station gym or a heavy strength frame is most of the work.
Extraction. Carried out of basements, mezzanines and upper floors, including equipment that was assembled in place and has never left the room.
Haul away. Loaded and taken off site so you are not left with a pile of frames in a corridor.
Floor and wall protection. The damage on a removal happens on the way out, in a space that is already finished and occupied.
Single pieces or whole rooms. One broken treadmill or an entire floor of equipment.

When removal is the right answer

A machine is past economical repair. We will tell you when that point has been reached rather than quoting a repair that will not hold — and then take it away.
New equipment is arriving. The old has to be gone before the new can land, usually on the same day. We can do both in one visit — see installation.
The space is being repurposed. An amenity room becoming a co-working space or storage, or a facility closing.
A lease is ending. Equipment out and the room returned to condition, against a fixed handover date.
Equipment was inherited. A building bought with somebody else’s equipment in it, frequently obsolete and occasionally unsafe.

Removal, or relocation?

They are different jobs and it is worth being clear which you want, because it changes how the equipment is handled.

Removal means the equipment is leaving and not coming back. It is disassembled for extraction rather than for reassembly, which is faster and cheaper.

Relocation means it is going somewhere else and has to work when it gets there. It is disassembled carefully, fixings are kept with their machine, and it is rebuilt, leveled and calibrated at the far end.

If some equipment is moving and some is being scrapped, that is one visit — tell us which pieces are which and we will quote it as a single job.

Arranging a removal

Tell us what is going, from where in the building, and by when. Access out — stairs, lift capacity, door widths, loading restrictions — matters more than the number of machines.

Can you get equipment out of a basement or an upper floor?

Yes, and it is a large part of why this is its own service. Equipment is frequently assembled in place and has never left the room, so it has to be broken down far enough to pass through doors, stairwells and lifts. That disassembly is most of the work on a heavy strength frame or a multi-station gym.

Do you haul the equipment away, or just move it out of the room?

We load it and take it off site, so you are not left with a pile of frames in a corridor. Tell us when you call whether anything is being kept, because that changes how carefully it is broken down.

What is the difference between removal and relocation?

Removal means the equipment is leaving and not coming back, so it is disassembled for extraction — faster and cheaper. Relocation means it has to work at the other end, so it is broken down carefully, fixings stay with their machine, and it is rebuilt, leveled and calibrated on arrival.

Can you remove old equipment and install the new on the same day?

Usually yes, and it is the normal arrangement when a room is being refreshed — the old has to be gone before the new can land. Tell us both sides when you ask for the quote and we will schedule it as one visit.

Will you protect our floors and walls on the way out?

Yes, and it matters more on a removal than an installation. On the way in the room is usually empty and unfinished; on the way out it is finished, occupied, and the corridors and lift lobbies are in daily use.

Can you take just one machine?

Yes. A single treadmill that is past economical repair is a job we will take, and it is often paired with a repair visit for the rest of the room so there is only one trip.
