On Site Fitness Service repairs Spirit Fitness treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and water rowers on site across Texas, and is an authorized service center for Spirit for both warranty repair and warranty diagnostics. What goes wrong, from our repair notes
Drive belts, walking belts and decks
The most common Spirit treadmill repair in our notes: a drive belt frayed at the edge, a worn walking belt, or both. A new walking belt usually goes on with the deck flipped to its unused side, and every belt job includes checking roller alignment, drive-belt alignment and whether the deck still has wax.
Consoles and software
Consoles that go black a few seconds after power-up, and replacement consoles that need the software on the lower board updated before the machine works as it should.
Speed sensor errors
An E5 error on an XT685 traced to a speed sensor that was dirty and out of position, cleaned and reset rather than replaced.
Elliptical noise
Noise from the bearings in the arms and the pivot where the arms meet the pedal arms on CE800 ellipticals. Lubrication quiets it; when it does not stop it, the worn part has to be found and replaced.
Elevation errors
An elevation error code on a Spirit treadmill traced to a failed upper board.
Warranty work
We are an authorized service center for Spirit Fitness, for warranty repair and for warranty diagnostics, so the trip to find the fault on a covered machine is billed to Spirit as well as the repair itself. See warranty service for how a claim works.

Yes, for both warranty repairs and warranty diagnostics, so on a covered machine the diagnostic visit and the repair labor are billed to Spirit rather than to you.
Why is my Spirit treadmill’s walking belt slipping or noisy?
On the Spirit treadmills we service, it is usually a worn walking belt, a frayed drive belt, or a deck that has lost its wax. On a belt call we check the belts, the roller alignment and the deck wax together.
Do you service Spirit water rowers?
Yes. The CRW800 and CRW900 water rowers are in our repair records alongside the treadmills, ellipticals and bikes.
