Community & Non-Profit Facilities FAQs
Can you work with a limited maintenance budget?
Yes. Silver covers the essential inspection, adjustment and lubrication round at the lowest cost, and plans are priced on how many machines you actually have.
Will you service donated or older equipment?
Yes, and it is common work for us. Where a machine has reached the end of safe service we will tell you plainly rather than keep repairing it.
Do you service YMCA and community centre equipment?
We do — community and non-profit facilities account for 311 of our recent Texas service orders.
Can you tell us what to fix now and what can wait?
Yes, and we would rather do that than quote everything at once. An inspection separates the items that are a safety issue now — a fraying cable, a stair climber cable, a loose handrail — from the wear that can reasonably be scheduled for later. Nothing starts without an approved quote, so you decide what proceeds.
We have equipment from several different donors and eras. Can you still help?
Usually yes. Our technicians are factory trained across the major manufacturers and we use OEM parts wherever the manufacturer still supplies them. Where a machine is genuinely beyond economical repair we will say so rather than quote a repair that will not hold.
